Idioms that paint the language - You’ll love🎨

Idioms are some of the most beautiful parts of the language. They do not give the exact meaning of what the words say but they give some clues, message or additional meaning. There is a famous saying that calls "It's raining cats and dogs." Definitely, can we see the animals fall from the sky ? No! It gives the meaning of that it is raining heavily.

Idioms are some kind of forms that give breath into the English language. We can say like that, because they make simple words or thoughts  jump into wonderful expressions. When you say "break the ice," you try to strike up an amiable conversation. "Spill the beans" gives the meaning of telling a secret; and if something happens rarely can be said as “once in a blue moon". These kind of phrases help to  make your sound fluency and natural sound in your speaking. In movies, day to talking, in conversations; the native speakers use these idioms in their uses.

Idioms can also be used for learning and they can be defined as learning tiny stories hidden inside English language. Every idiom has a grounded story. As an example, “kick the bucket” is kind of phrase that has taken through old practice in England. Furthermore, each idiom appears as a new door into English culture.

It is better to learn a few new idioms a week try to use them in daily conversations. It’s enjoyable and a pretty way to impress everyone who you are talking to , at the same time it helps to improve your vocabulary. You’ll be amazed at how much you can use idioms in English Language and how well they can impress your language skills with a little poetic view.

Behind the scenes:- In my classroom activities I used them in my own class while I was working with little kids. I used them while I’m doing a role play activity and I was able to get their attention for a moment and they were asking about the meaning and they were also very interested in what they got from that activity. Finally,  they also had that experience while engaging with others.
